Yes Obama never met a CEO who he didn't want to kiss his azz. The more high profile the CEO the better.
And a day can't pass without GE's Jeffrey Immelt hanging by Obamas side. He will be there today too.
It is budget time. Time to tell the CEO's how much of the federal budget will be going to their companies.
Steve Jobs is on medical leave but that won't stop him from showing up at a "private residence" to meet Obama and find out about all his free federal money.
“The President and the business leaders will discuss our shared goal of promoting American innovation, and discuss his commitment to new investments in research and development, education and clean energy,” the White House said in its daily guidance to reporters.
Money for teachers.... Sorry no.
Money for Police....Sorry no.
Money for Apple, Facebook and Google...You bet there is. Lots of it too.
I am sure Steve jobs can't wait to detail all the slave laborers he is employing over there in China. I am sure Obama is anxious to learn how that is helpful to the US economy.
I am sure Obama can't wait to discuss how Google was hacked by China. Obama can relate after all the White House was hacked by China too. I am sure that will bring a chuckle to the room of Billionaires.
One thing you can be sure is this meeting won't be viewed on C Span. No room for open and honest government. That gets in the way of back room dealings.
