A-10 VS F-35

The A-10 VS The F-35.

The F-35 is not designed to do what the A-10 is designed to do.

But because the F-35 costs so much money (More then any other weapons system in the history of planet Earth) it is expected to replace the A-10

The A-10 is super amazing and has been super amazing for many (many) decades.

But they don’t make them anymore and there is no big money interest pushing for them.

There are a ton of big money interests pushing for the F-35.

Congress has mandated they must test the F-35 against the A-10.

Since the F-35 has 0% chance of beating the A-10 they are simply skewing the test (cheating) to give the illusion the F-35 can compete.

The A-10 can fly super slow. The F-35 can’t.

The A-10 has a gigantic Gatling gun that will turn an armored tank into talcum powder. The F-35 gun cannot compete.

The A-10 gives the pilot high visibility. The F-35 cockpit visability is a mess.

The A-10 can carry a ton of ammunition.

The F-35 is very limited in what it can carry. Because the F-35 strength is stealth all the weapons need to be hidden inside the body of the plane. That is very limiting.

The A-10 can take a pounding and still remain airborne. The F-35 is very delicate……If it rains too hard the Stealth skin can be damaged.

If the A-10 gets shot down it only costs tax payers pennies on the dollar. When the F-35 gets shot down it costs hundreds of millions of dollars.

After you assess all the differences you can understand why the military is hiding these tests from the public, and you can understand why they would cheat to make the results seem competitive. Even though the F-35 stands no chance competing against the A-10.
