$7,000,000,000,000.00 handed over to private contractors.
Private contractors who did a terrible job.
The results.....
The Taliban ran Afghanistan in 2001.
The Taliban runs Afghanistan in 2021.
You don't get a refund on that money either. It is gone. Poof. Like magic.
Where did the money go? None of your business.
What you can be sure is the soldiers fighting the war didn't get any of it.
What did you (the taxpayer) get for your money? Absolutely nothing.
What could have $7,000,000,000,000.00 been used for instead? I bet you can think of a couple of things.
But it is gone now, and you are never getting it back. And nobody will ever be held accountable.
Oh and by the way......Social Security is running out of money. And Medicare is also running out of money. And The infrastructure of our country is a mess. And Homeless people line the streets of many US Cities.
