Extended Unemployment Benefits ending‏

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/40447966/ns/politics-more_politics/

"Congressional opponents of extending the benefits beyond this month say fiscal responsibility should come first. Republicans in the House and Senate, along with a handful of conservative Democrats, say they're open to extending benefits, but not if it means adding to the $13.8 trillion national debt.

But extending tax cuts for the rich does not need to be paid for. If giving rich people their tax cuts increase the deficit that is just fine.

If not extending unemployment insurance means middle class families end up in the homeless shelter that is OK with Republicans.
"We're going to have to have a new conversation with the people who are still suffering, about the potentially drastic changes they're going to have to make to stay out of the homeless shelter,"

But when it comes to extending tax cuts to the rich the Republicans will do what needs to be done. It is all about priorities. Rich people and business comes first. Everyone else can get in line at the soup kitchen.
