Burger King Leaving America....True Patriots.
Burger King is about to run off to Canada to avoid paying their US taxes. Good for them. Screw America. America deserves nothing. America only exists for its consumers.
Consumers who are supposed to magically have money…… just not from any US corporations.
From a corporations perspective it is only a one way street. The money flows out of your wallet directly to them. But it never returns the other way. Ever!
Two can play that game though. Next time you see a Burger King approaching, just drive right by. Don’t even turn your head and look. You keep the money in your wallet, and let them keep the sh*tty food behind their counter.
At the end of the night, when all the food is still sitting there (and the cash register is empty) let them explain it to corporate. When the CEO checks the numbers and has to explain the lack of money maybe he will figure it out. I am sure he will come up with something positive to tell the investors. Those guys are magicians with words. He can tell them about all the savings Burger King pocketed by not paying US taxes. He can then offer the irate investors all the leftover chicken sandwiches. I am sure those will make everyone feel better.
