James Clapper Hears Your Complaints and Is Ready to Double Down.....

James Clapper the Director of National Intelligence (The guy who listens to all your phone calls) hears your complaints about the intrusion of government on your life.
Except what he hears is that you want more intrusion.
That is correct…..Anytime they have failed to stop a plot it is because they are not far enough into your personal space.
Reading your emails, tracking you online movement, listening to your phone calls, tracking you around town…..It is all just not enough.
What you need is even more.
Director of National Intelligence James Clapper told Charlie Rose there is an irony in the debate over government intrusion. In making his point, Clapper referenced years of "post event critiques and investigations" on terror-related events.
"A common theme of every one of those critiques has been that the government should have been more intrusive," said Clapper. "It was true of the Christmas bomber, it was true in Fort Hood, and it's true in the Boston Marathon."
Clapper says he interprets those criticisms as meaning that the intelligence community should "do more intensive surveillance of people who live in this country."
So lets review….When United States intelligence fails to stop a man in Amsterdam from boarding a plane with explosives in his underwear the lesson is that YOU need more government surveillance in your life. Maybe that would have helped.
If the government could just get a little further up your a** then perhaps something like that might not happen again in the future. So stop fighting it and just bend over already.
The fact of the matter is even with all the surveillance in the world things like the underwear bomber still happen. The surveillance has done NOTHING to make us safer. More of it will do little to change that.
