Equifax Disaster....
The Equifax data breach announced this week puts 143,000,000 people at risk.
For the last decade these credit rating agencies have been sending their work (and your identity) overseas to save them money. They were proud to do it. People knew it was putting you at risk. People stated it was putting you at risk. NOBODY cared.
This article is from 2003. Everyone knew back then where this was going to end up. It wasn't a secret. Everyone ignored the risk and now you have a 50% chance that your identity is in the hands of bad people.
But look on the bright side......They saved lots of money.
CEO of Equifax bragging about outsorucing their work to Infosys. It was a good deal for them. It was a sh*t deal for you.
