How the NFL owners lost complete control of their league.

They made a historic miscalculation. They thought (as everyone thinks) that everyone HATES Trump. If you just do the opposite of what Trump says everyone will love you.

As the Republicans all found out. And As The Democrats all found out. And as the News Media all found out. You can't beat Trump. Everyone thinks you can and EVERYONE fails. Trump just mows everyone down.

Last year Kapernick had his protests. Kapernick was removed from the league. The owners maintained Control.

This year Trump said what he said and the owners made a colossal error in judgement. They sanctioned the protests. The unleashed the players. They let the Genie out of the bottle. They thought America would love them for it. They thought they would win. They were sadly mistaken. Now they are in big trouble in total panic mode without a clue how to fix it.

They should have just said to their players.....yes you have freedom of speech but when you are at work you represent your employer. Your employer needs you to stand and show respect. When you are on your own time you can say and do anything you like. That is what all the other leagues (who haven't lost control) say and it works just fine.

Because they didn't do that they now don't know what to do. Fans are pissed. Sponsors are threatening to leave. The billionaires are all freaking out. Trump must be giggling in the oval office.
