Gov Cuomos Poor Leadership Directives......
Cuomos leadership had been celebrated.
He is a wonderful leader (We were told) who could be our next President.
Trump is a horrible leader (We were told)...... but Cuomo is top notch.
Except Cuomo mandated that nursing homes (the places where the most vulnerable people live) MUST take Covid 19 patients.
Then when Nursing homes asked Cuomo to provide PPE. Cuomo told them it is not the states responsibility to provide PPE to PRIVATE nursing home.
So the Covid 19 patients moved in.
The virus spread like wild fire through those facilities.
Lots of people died.
Cuomo said there was not much that could be done.
But the dead bodies piled up and NOW Cuomo is trying to do damage control.
Maybe he wasn't such a fantastic leader.
There is more to leadership then having a good press conference.
