Also on the back of Mavericks Jacket is the flag of Japan. Japan - Ally of the USA. Protected by the USA. Threatened by Communist Red China.

In 2022 Maverick will be puckering up to smooch the large behind of his Communist bosses.
At the end of Top Gun there will be cheering and celebrating that once again Communism has been defeated.
That will be fiction.
In reality Communism has been winning the real war for a very long time. Nobody seems to notice.
