CIGNA

Cigna pretending not to like the Health Care bill. (chuckle, chuckle).

http://www.philly.com/philly/business/homepage/20100323_PhillyDeals__Cigna_CEO__Health-care_bill_unsustainable.html

It called some of the bill's reforms "overdue, such as eliminating preexisting conditions from coverage decisions, providing full coverage for preventive services, and opening up access to many who are not currently insured."

"Of course, insurers didn't take those "overdue" steps without government action."

Cigna is still concerned about runaways healthcare costs though. Cost which they help to runaway with. Too bad they are not as concerned about the costs for their Ex CEO.

Meanwhile - Insurance stocks all heading North as the reality sets in. The Great insurance giveaway is now law.

The result -

Aetna Inc. (AET) surged

CIGNA Corporation (CI) gained

WellPoint, Inc. (WLP) went up

Health Net, Inc. (HNT) soared

And this is just day 1.
