In November Bloomberg cut the budget eliminating thousands of jobs. Yayyyyy...........

That included -

"Department of Sanitation:
Eliminate 200 supervisor posts and redeploy to frontline sanitation worker positions."

Today nobody is cleaning up the snow days after the blizzard. Everyone is pissed off.

It is easy to say cut the budget. It is easy to say shrink the government. Just cut, cut, cut ,cut cut. Sounds like good stuff until you can't drive across the city. Sounds like good stuff until you call 911 and nobody shows up for 6 hours.

Then everyone wants to know why. Why is easy. You laid off thousands of workers. That is why.
