6 months ago the Pratt employees went to court to save the Cheshire and East Hartford facilities and they won. Today they agree to close the plants anyway and walk the gang plank. What was the point of suing if they are just going to cave.

So the plant will be closed and the work will be sent to Singapore and Japan. What a big win for the employees. Some short sighted employees will grab 20 grand thinking they are the big winners. Since there are only 3 companies worldwide that build jet engines. And none of them want to hire Americans. The employees are going to quickly learn the reality as they grab the Hartford Courant want ads and try to find the ads seeking Jet Engine mechanics. Quickly they will realize their working days are over.
