Arizona Shooting

I don’t think this shooting had anything to do with the political rhetoric of the day.

This shooting was carried out by a crazy person. Crazy people shooting innocent people is not a new phenomenon. Political figures being targeted is not new either. Lincoln was shot. JFK was shot. RFK was shot. MLK was shot. Governor Wallace was shot. President Reagan was shot. Pope John Paul was shot. John Lennon was shot.

The common denominator is guns and this craziness has been going on for a long time.
There was the Capital Hill Police Shooting. The White House shooting. The Pentagon Shooting. Columbine shooting. Virginia Tech Shooting. FT Hood Shooting. Hartford Distributors shooting. DC Snipers. The list goes on and on.

Arizona lax gun laws have been highlighted as a problem.

This latest crazy guy had multiple arrests. He was suspending from school. He was denied into the military. Yet he was still allowed to buy a gun. Something is very wrong with that system.
