Virtual Fence Scrapped

The Virtual fence on the mexican border is being scrapped.
Another high profile failure for Boeing. 1 Billion Dollars wasted. 1 mile of terrain protected for 15 million dollars.
They could have just built a real fence for a fraction of the money and actually had it inhibit illegal's from entering the country.

In 2006 when this project was announced it was said "a previous effort to install cameras along the border failed when the equipment didn't work well. "Hopefully, we learned some lessons,"
Now we know the answer is NO they didn't learn their lesson. Just keep making the same mistakes over and over.
