9/11 Flag NYC....

Millions of pounds of buildings had just collapsed.
Thousands of people were dead and missing.
There was fire. There was smoke.
But one of the first shots fired in the war on Terror weren’t fired from a gun. It was fired when this flag was hoisted on the smoldering wreckage in lower Manhattan.
One of the most important pictures to come out of the recovery of 9/11 was right here.
This picture has been used as THE symbol of that day.
It was positive. It was uplifting. Everyone who saw it was moved by it.
We are Americans and that flag represents all of us. In good times. In bad times. Through the good parts of our country and the bad parts.
The one thing we SHOULD all agree on is that flag.
