Martin Luther King Conspiracy....

On the advise of his attorney James Earl Ray pleaded guilty to the assassination of Martin Luther King.
Ray was told it would be the only way to avoid the electric chair.
3 days after later pleading guilty (and realizing he would now never have a trial) Ray fired his attorney and attempted to withdrawn his guilty plea. He was not allowed to withdraw it. He would spend the rest of his life trying unsuccessfully to get his day in court. His day never came. He died in jail in 1998.
Ray claimed the assassination was a conspiracy that involved the government.
In 1993 Lloyd Jowers (who owned a business next to the Lorraine Motel) said the assassination was part of a conspiracy. He said he was part of it and James Earl Ray was a scapegoat.
In 1999 the King family (believing Ray was not involved) sued Jowers in Civil court (the only trial ever concerning the assassination of Martin Luther King). The fake news media did their best to ignore the trial as it didn't fit the official narrative. The king family won the case against Jowers. In 2000 the Justice Dept pretended to look into the case again but said there wasn't enough evidence to continue. That was the end of it.
