China Nervous about Default

China is getting super nervous our crazy Republicans won’t raise the debt ceiling. 

China is holding 3 trillion dollars in US securities and are real afraid they will soon be worthless pieces of paper. 

Wouldn’t that be a shame. 

If the only ramification of not raising the debt ceiling is China gets pissed off then I say we go for it. If the US defaults the dollar will plunge. If the dollar plunges it will be cheaper to make things in the USA. China knows all about how that concept works. They have been doing that to us for decades.

We could eliminate the trade deficit, and the budget deficit, in one fell swoop. Jobs will flood back and the treasury will be over flowing with new tax revenues. It will be like getting a fresh start.

Sure corporations will get screwed over but does anyone really care? The corporations didn’t care when the jobs all left. So why would we care when they have to bring them all back.

So the Republicans cause the US to default. The US loses 3 trillion dollars in Debt to China. China hates us (as they do anyway) and all the jobs flood back into the USA. Perhaps the crazy Republicans are actually onto something.

Of course a default would effect a lot of other things……. so I am not really being serious. In case my sarcasm is not coming through. But if we could only walk out on our obligations to Communist Red China we should do it.
