Kraft Killing US Jobs.....

Kraft is also laying off 700 employees. They also need to get rid of hundreds of employees so they too can….you know…… grow. Everyone has the goal to grow. Nobody is actually doing any growing but that is always to goal.

“We need to grow”. Growth is the most important thing so lets get rid of lots of people so we can achieve our goal. Love it!

“Other companies with offices in the Chicago area have laid off more than 7,700 workers since the beginning of the year, according to outplacement firm Challenger, Gray & Christmas.

(All part of Obamas new and improved economy. Obama will tell you all about how he fixed everything….Yet (as he tells you this) his own home state is getting pummeled…….. because the reality is he fixed nothing.)

“On Monday, Kraft Heinz affirmed its commitment to cut costs by $1.5 billion (WOW!) by the end of 2017. As part of its merger, the company said it expected to reduce its existing workforce, according to documents filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Also Monday, the company reported sales declines (Of course they did) at both its Kraft and Heinz units for the second quarter.

In a letter to Hees on Monday, Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) urged the company to reconsider the 700 job cuts in Illinois (No chance) and barring that, to offer training and job placement services for displaced workers. (Job training HAHAHAHAHAH…Yeah so workers laid off at Kraft can go work at Mondelez…..Oh wait…..No they can’t)

"This corporate decision creates tremendous social and economic pain for these workers, their families, and the greater Northfield community," Durbin wrote.

Heinz, which is based in Pittsburgh, cut more than 7,000 jobs — about 20 percent of the workforce — in the 18 months after it was acquired in 2013 by Berkshire Hathaway and private-equity firm 3G Capital. (Warren Buffett must be so proud. His company bought Kraft and he is making a fortune by laying off 20% of the company. When he no longer needs to pay those workers that is more money for his bank account. Lord knows if there is anyone who needs even more money it is Warren. That is capitalism at its finest. The best part is nobody ever blames Warren for anything. He is beloved. Beloved because people are stupid.)
